About Us

Our Rigorous Process to Ensure the Highest Level of Product for Our Clients:

To achieve the proper protein amount and nitrogen content, the testing for our products start in the onsite laboratory at the manufacturing plants for Brix/Protein levels. This insures BWF Banducci Inc. receives the highest quality of product our Clients demand for their growing technique and crop production.

After transportation of the product we begin our own testing procedures. Each lot is tested for E-coli, E-coli 0157: H7, EHEC, Listeria and Salmonella before it is shipped to the grower meeting the requirements of the Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement (LGMA). A copy of the results for each lot go out with every load that BWF Banducci Inc. ships. Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium, and heavy metals analysis are run before any product is shipped to the grower, insuring that BWF Banducci Inc.'s products are meeting their label claims. Another testing procedure that is run on various lots of BWF Banducci Inc.'s products is a N14:N15 isotope test performed by IEH Laboratories.

BWF Banducci Inc. has dedicated truck tankers that are inspected, and if necessary, cleaned before every load. Before any product is loaded on to a truck it is screened through a 100 mesh screen, and a Y-Strainer is used to insure better application compatibility. Once a truck is loaded with a product, numbered lock ties are placed on the dome lid(s) and valve(s) to insure that the tanker is not tampered with while in transit. These lock tie numbers are written on the Bill of Lading so BWF Banducci, Inc. and the customer have a copy of them. Once the product is delivered to the customer a copy of the bill of lading, weight tickets, and a pathogen testing certificate of analysis is sent to the customer.

We at BWF Banducci Inc. and our products have undergone rigorous third-party inspections by the State of California and the Accredited Certifying Agents (ACAs) with which we are listed.  We are also on the Earthbound Farm Cooperating Manufacturers List.

We are current and in compliance with USDA APHIS/FSIS standards and guidelines and all of the updates and demands in the Organic and Sustainable Industry to better serve our customers.

BWF Banducci Inc. takes pride in providing the highest quality products under the latest NOP guidelines along with excellent service.

BWF Banducci Inc.'s products, Liquid Sunshine 5-1-1, Secure 4-1-1 and Organique Exquis 3-1-1, are tracked by a lot system. Each lot makes up 20,000 + gallons. Starting with the Chain of Custody, each lot is sealed with a lock tie after it is deposited into our Rail Tanker cars with a tracking number to insure that the lot is sealed until it is in our possession at the Bakersfield, California facility. Here lots are transferred into large polyurethane stand-alone receiving tanks that are specifically designated for each lot. The tracking numbers are provided on our shipping manifest for tracking purposes.

Sampling Protocol for BWF Banducci Inc
BWF Banducci Inc. tests every Lot of Liquid Sunshine 5-1-1, Secure 4-1-1, Organique Exquis 3-1-1 and the Dry Bandi Meal “trucked in” as soon as liquids arrive by rail at our storage facility. Once the rail tanker is in our chain of custody the railcar is circulated using designated pumps and hoses.

Once the product in the rail tanker has been circulated a designated 5 gallon bucket is filled with product. Out of that 5 gallon bucket an 8 oz. sample is taken. That 8 oz. sample is then split; one is kept for retention the other is delivered ASAP to the Lab.
With the corresponding paper work which show when the sample was taken, by whom, what product is being sampled, the lot number, and what tests need to be performed on that sample. Once the sample has been delivered to the lab in Bakersfield there daily currier takes the sample to:

Once the sample reaches the Lab testing procedures begin immediately.
All retention samples are kept for a minimum of 120 days. All certificate of analysis are kept for a minimum of 1 year.

Rail Tanker Processing Protocol
Once San Joaquin Valley Railroad (SJVR) spots one of BWF Banducci, Inc. tankers at our facility it is inspected to make sure that the zip ties are intact and not tampered with while in transit.  Once the inspection is complete the unloading process starts.
The rail tankers hold approximately 20000+/- gallons.  Each railcar is unloaded in 5000 gallon increments.  Each 5000 gallon increment is pumped from the railcar to the reactor tank.  The reactor tank is so named so there is no confusion as to where the product is to be pumped.  Once the reactor has approximately 5000 gallons in it the screening process begins.  The product is pumped over the top of the shaker screen where it is screened through a 100 mesh screen.  This is done to insure that the grower will not have any application problems in the field.  The amount of product that does not pass through the shaker screen is minimal.  Approximately 80 to 100 gallons of shake product per railcar does not pass through the screen.  This residual passes over the screen and into the tailings bin where it is kept until it can be taken off the property and disposed of at the ranch.  The screened product passes through the 100 mesh and into the recovery tank.  From the recovery tank the screened product is pumped into the inventory tanks that have been designated for that lot.  Once each designated inventory tank is filled with the material it is labeled with the corresponding lot number, and product name.  If there is not enough empty tank space to hold an entire railcar and a new lot has to be added to an older lot (i.e. M8 has to be put in a tank with M7) this is documented and samples are pulled for that tank and labeled with both lots' numbers and that inventory tank's number (i.e. M25 - M26) to show that these lots were mixed and what tank it is in.

We thank you for this opportunity to do business with you.
